Perfect for anxious drivers! I am so grateful that I found Omid after going through many failed attempts with other driving schools. I am very grateful to have Omid as my first and only driving instructor. He is very experienced, calm and patient. He always pointed out my mistakes when driving and made sure that those mistakes got fixed. Passed my driving test with 0 errors at Green Slopes with SUV. Even though I had been driving for years with the different type of cars and with zero amount of accident (touch wood!), all thanks to Omid for teaching me how to drive safe, especially when it is combined with driving on the left! He changed my point of view on safe driving. Lesson learned were more than license’s requirements, but a perfect insurance! He has been a great instructor; very hard working and friendly. I sincerely strongly recommend him.

Emu and Omid are awesome. Even though I am an experienced driver for years, the lessons really helped pass the test in 1 shot. As an International license holder, we only get 1 shot get an Open L, or else we’ll have to start from learners’. It would have really affected work and survival.

Omid’s videos helped with focusing on key points, refreshing my skills with importance on all test related aspects as well as general/specific rules to drive in the country. Things I would have missed if I had not taken the lessons.

He’s very calm and clear in his explanation and method. Worth it and will recommend!

I’m a Brazilian driver and my Brazilian drive lincense had expired so I needed to get my Queensland drive lincense. I have a lot of year of experience driving in Brazil, but here is different, in the opposite side. So I needed help to figure out and then I found the Emu driving school and booked some class with Omid and gave to him a challenge because I needed to pass in that test at the first attempt, I couldn’t fail! He got this responsibility and told me that I’ll pass! He was very patient and professional. He teach me everything that I needed to know and the Result could not be other then SUCESS!!!! My wife, who had a learners permit for 11 years, and 7 previous driving instructors has finally got her Licence and first time as well. She is truly overjoyed.

We chose Omid based on his website and the testimonials. At the time I wondered if they we all true, but now having seen the patient, professional way in which he guided my wife to getting her Licence ( and blitzing it, I might add) I realise that those testimonials must all be true.

She has become a very good careful driver and this is in no small part to the training and encouragement she got from Omid. On the day of the test, I expected her to be nervous, but was surprised how calm and confident she was.

She told me Omid had taught her everything and she felt confident and optimistic.

I left this review on Emu Driving School’s Facebook page and thought I would share this here as well. The summary of the below long post is that I passed!


About two weeks ago, I contacted Emu Driving School after landing on their website following a Google search. I trusted my instincts and contacted them. In less than 5mins, I got a response from Omid.
I explained to Omid that my overseas license was expiring soon and needed to changeover urgently. Omid then got me a slot for the actual driving test without asking for a cent upfront. As someone who appreciates little things, that was a big one!!
Here are some great things to say about the driving lessons I took with Omid: great service at a very affordable cost, clear instructions, genuinely nice, professional, very patient and experienced, tech-savvy instructor – yes, Omid has an e-notebook on which he illustrates and shows you short explanatory videos which I found really helpful. You will be surprised how much Omid knows the Greenslopes local roads which are potential test routes. I have so many nice things to say about Omid and the services he provided but I will stop here so I don’t annoy the readers with a longer post.

You want to feel safer on the roads and be test-ready? Omid is the main man for that! I will be recommending Emu Driving School.

Omid is such a great driving instructor. Of all instructors I’ve met, he is the most patient, calm, friendly, and smart. He is not only knowlegable about the road rules in Australia but he will give you a lot of tips to pass your driving test. I highly recommend Omid to be your driving instructor. Omid is a fantastic driving teacher - he is patient, calm and helpful. Omid has taught me how to be a safe, alert and skilful driver. I got my provisional licence recently and was told by the driving examiner that my U-Turn was "so good it was textbook".

Omid is also great for anxious people! I was very scared to drive when I first started. Throughout our lessons Omid increased my driving confidence and his guidance helped to reduce my anxieties.
